Working Principles
The Nd:YAG laser platform operates on the principle of selective photothermolysis and photomechanical interaction to treat diverse skin concerns.
For tattoo and pigment removal, the ultra-short pulses are selectively absorbed by the ink particles or melanin. This rapid absorption creates intense photoacoustic shockwaves that mechanically shatter the target into micro-fragments, which are then cleared by the body\'s immune system over time.
For non-ablative skin rejuvenation, it employs a different mechanism. It is minimally absorbed by melanin but well absorbed by water in the dermis. This generates precise, controlled micro-thermal zones within the skin, which stimulate collagen and elastin production without damaging the epidermis. 1320nm Laser Head: As a midāinfrared wavelength, it is poorly absorbed by melanin and hemoglobin but well absorbed by water in the dermal tissue. It is primarily used for nonāablative skin rejuvenationāstimulating collagen remodeling to improve skin texture, reduce fine lines, minimize pores, and soften atrophic acne scarsāwith minimal downtime and no visible injury to the epidermis.
1064nm Laser Head: It\'s designed for deep-reaching treatments, making it ideal for removing dark pigments and tattoos. This longer wavelength penetrates deep into the skin to target black, blue, and dark-colored tattoo inks, as well as deeply rooted pigmented lesions such as Nevus of Ota and other dermal melasma. Its lower absorption by epidermal melanin also makes it the safest choice for patients with darker skin tones, significantly minimizing the risk of burning or post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation.
